All About Me
My name is Esmeralda Gamiochipe. I'm starting my 31st year working for the Baldwin Park Unified School District. I have taught first, second, third and fourth grade during the past 25 years at Walnut School. I previously worked 5 years at Geddes Elementary as a bilingual instructional aide. I attended Pleasant View and De Anza elementary as a child. I then went to Landis Jr. High and Graduated from Baldwin Park High School. I attended Mt. San Antonio College and Cal Poly, Pomona. I obtained my Master's Degree in Education through Concordia University in Irvine, Ca.

Class Description:
Our classroom is made up of 17 energetic Dual language students. Our daily instructional minutes consist of 70% Spanish language instruction and 30% instruction in English. Reading, Writing, Social Studies and Math are taught in Spanish. PE and Science are taught in English. Our English language learners receive English Language Development with a focus on Science and Social Studies.
